Terms of use

Last updated October 25, 2026.

Free to use

Onword is free for anyone to use for presentations, practice, school and work. A paid plan, Pro, is coming soon (see below).

Your content is yours

Slides, notes and recordings you use with the app belong to you. Unless you sign in, they stay on your own computer and we never receive them. If you sign in, your decks are kept in your account so only you can open them, and we never use them for anything else.

No guarantees

The app listens and guesses when you're done with a slide. It can make mistakes, mishear words, or move too early or too late. Keep a keyboard or clicker nearby for important talks. The app is provided as it is, without warranties.

Pro (coming soon)

A paid plan called Pro is coming. It isn't on sale yet, and nothing in the app costs money today. Before Pro goes on sale, these terms will be updated with how it's paid for, cancelled and refunded.

Be kind

Don't use the app to break the law or to record people without their permission.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
